Description in English:
The TASSCARRERA has a double objective:
To physically engage our community in Brisbane and its surroundings, sharing a day in which we will run or walk different distances (5 or 10 km in a route along a 2.5km straight line, with views of the river), depending on the level of each participant;
and to be inclusive of people of different ages, genders and abilities where they can enjoy the same event at the same time, adapt their rhythm, and feel the support of colleagues and companions in each round of the route (Suitable route for strollers/bikes and scooters for kids and pets too).
As you can see in the attached images, the place and route are accessible to all types of audiences and can be easily reached by public transport (Guyatt Park Ferry terminal) or by bike.
Cross benefits are triggered from these goals, such as encouraging and educating Brisbane people to walk and use sustainable public transport as part of their daily routine. This event can encourage families to carry out physical activities together, as a healthy and conciliatory habit.
